If HTTP keep-alive is enabled, this value is the number of idle connections that will be simultaneously kept alive, per-destination.
If HTTP keep-alive is enabled, this value is the number of idle connections that will be simultaneously kept alive, per-destination. Default: 5.
Provides convenience methods to configure global HTTP properties. Unlike the Config parameter passed into HttpClient, these global settings affect everything that shares the JVM, so they should be used carefully.
See http://docs.oracle.com/javase/6/docs/technotes/guides/net/properties.html
There are some properties that are not supported here because a better alternative is to configure your HttpClient instances with the commonRequestHeaders parameter to achieve exactly the same effect without requiring a global setting. These are as follows:
For "http.keepalive" (default: true), include "Connection: close".
For "http.agent", include "User-Agent: your-string".
For "http.proxyHost" etc, use the Proxy parameter to HttpClient constructor.
